Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

Throughout these Terms, the following definitions apply:

• "Service" refers to professional makeup artistry sessions provided by Wanyu on a home visit basis.
• "We / Us / Our" refers to Wanyu Makeup Artist, Hsinchu, Taiwan.
• "Client / You" refers to any individual who books, enquires about, or uses the Service.
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms & Conditions and any booking confirmation.
• "Session" refers to a single scheduled makeup artistry appointment.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a booking enquiry or confirming a session, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. This agreement is entered into by individuals aged 18 or over who have the capacity to form a binding contract under applicable Taiwan law. If you are booking on behalf of another person, you warrant that you have their authority to do so.

3. Service Description

Wanyu provides professional home visit makeup artistry services in Hsinchu City and surrounding areas, Taiwan. The three available services are: Dewy Skin Focus, Conference Presence, and Luxe Anniversary Celebration. Full service descriptions are available on our Solutions page. Services are delivered at the client's nominated address within our service area. Geographic restrictions may apply to distant locations — please enquire in advance.

4. Booking and Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after we have acknowledged it in writing (by email or message). Submitting an enquiry form does not constitute a confirmed booking. For the Luxe Anniversary Celebration service, a deposit is required to secure the date — the amount and payment method will be confirmed at enquiry stage. We reserve the right to decline bookings at our discretion.

5. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when booking, including your address, contact details, and relevant skin sensitivities
• Be present and available at the agreed location and time
• Inform us of any known allergies, skin conditions, or contraindications in advance
• Provide a reasonably clean and accessible workspace for the artist upon arrival
• Treat the artist with respect throughout the session

6. Payment Terms

Service prices are listed in New Taiwan Dollars (NT$) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Payment methods accepted will be confirmed at booking. For the Luxe Anniversary Celebration, a deposit is required in advance; the balance is due at the time of the day-of session. All other services are payable on the day of the session unless otherwise arranged.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule:

• Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the session: no charge
• Cancellations made within 48–72 hours: 25% of the session fee may be retained
• Cancellations made within 24 hours or non-attendance: 50% of the session fee may be retained
• Luxe Anniversary Celebration deposits are non-refundable if cancelled within 7 days of the event

We will always try to reschedule where possible. In the event of cancellation by Wanyu due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided, or an alternative date offered.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, and design — is the property of Wanyu and may not be reproduced without prior written consent. Session outcomes (the makeup look applied) are the artistic work of Wanyu. Photographs of your session may not be shared publicly without our consent if they feature or credit Wanyu's name or work.

9. Photography

Wanyu does not take or retain session photographs without your explicit consent. If you share photographs of your session on social media or other platforms, you do so at your own discretion. Wanyu may request permission to use such images for portfolio or marketing purposes — this will always be a specific, voluntary request, not a default assumption.

10. Disclaimers

Makeup artistry services are provided on an "as is" basis. While every care is taken to select appropriate products for your skin type, we cannot account for unknown sensitivities or undisclosed conditions. Results may vary depending on individual skin characteristics, preparation, and post-session care. We do not make any representation that a particular result will be achieved.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Wanyu's liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the value of the session fee paid. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Hsinchu District Court as the court of first instance, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The most current version will be posted on this page with the updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
